I spent many, many hours in the library as a kid and have very fond memories of it. It was always so peaceful and inviting and you never knew what adventure awaited you in the pages of a book you might find. There’s no shortage of words here. This was taken with my iPhone and processed in PSE6. I used the Topaz Cartoon filter and then layered it over the original using the overlay blend mode.

  1. The words are in the photo itself. Alignment, Books, Carpet, Design (on window) etc, this picture is worth 10, 000 words. Good One hard shor with that window there.

  2. This is a really good image to represent the passage that the libray is for kids (and even grups!) to a larger world.

  3. This is very cool to represent the theme and it is just so colorful…looks like a kids library section with all of those great primary colors! Love the lines too!

  4. Great color indeed! Clever way to use the theme. A genius way to fix the bright window light.

  5. Love the effect!!

  6. I love the Topaz Simplify cartoon filter and think it is so underused!! This came out so cool!! Nice work.

  7. I really like this one. So colourful and with great depth. Thanks for your nice comments about my frozen rose.
