Time to bring in the pumpkins! And, by the looks of it, it’s hard work! hehe. Taken with my T1i and 28-75mm lens.

  1. Eleanor, THAT is the the cutest picture, ever! And compositionally, very well done. I like the way he is about a foot step away from walking out of the picture (shows progress in his task) and you can see all the pumpkins left behind him. Of course, your comments set up the photo perfectly.

I like the top one too! I always like pumpkin filled photos.

    • Thanks, Judi. I just thought it was comical-he was trying so hard to get as many pumpkins as possible without help. (You know how 3 year olds can be 🙂 )

  2. Eleanor, I’m fairly certain that there are Child Labour Laws – Even in a Technologically Challenged (Backwards) place like the U. S. of A. and if there isn’t, isn’t 3YO just a tad young! LOL Fun Shot, kids got tons of character!

  3. You gotta have one in each hand for balance, I think he is already imagining the carving that is about to happen. The shadows in the clothes give the image great depth.

    • Thanks for the feedback, Jens! I didn’t get the shadows on purpose (Josh is getting a little camera shy), but thanks for pointing out what it can add to a photo.

  4. I am in love w/ that expression…”Grandma, aren’t you gong to help??”
