Slow action on these angles

The rain continues to come down, so I took a bit of a walk in my local mall. A slow day there. Not much action at all, even at the registers. :). So I snapped this with my iPhone. Edited for contrast, cropped a tad and slight blur added in PSmobile for the iPhone.

  1. Love the simplicity of the composition and how you caught the motion…awesome eye for seeing this scene and perfect execution!!

  2. I like the silvery glow to this and the shopper is perfectly set in the shot. Your phone shots are so cool and I am always surprised at how many editing apps there are

  3. I like the dreamy feel to the image.

  4. This would also work for Emotions–SO moody! This kind of slice-of-life shot is where the iPhone excels. Your processing–the light blur that accentuates the sole rider on the escalator as well as the vignette–makes it extraordinary in conveying the sense of anomie one might find at a mall.

  5. Thanks for the kind words and visit everybody. 🙂 You’re right about the iPhone Bobbi-it seems to capture shots of life well. There are quite a few editing apps-I only have a few of them-the problem sometimes is remembering what does what! LOl 🙂
